What a Day! APAI Western Iowa Golf Outing is a Huge Success!
Over 140+ fans of golf and asphalt came together for a magical day of golf and camaraderie at the Majestic Hills Golf Course in Denison, IA on August 28th. The smell of asphalt was in the air from a nearby Crawford Co. paving project as the golfers teed off on a beautiful 70 degree morning. “This is my favorite golf outing every year,” quipped one of the golfers at the clubhouse. To make the event even more special, the attendees’ generosity raised over $4000 for the APAI Scholarship Fund. “I really couldn’t be more proud of the people who attend this event and are willing to give so much to support the next generation that will be working in our industry,” said Bill Rosener, Executive Vice President of the Asphalt Paving Association of Iowa. The team of Deano Dean (BMC Aggregates, L.C.), Adam Clemons (Hancock/Wright Co.), Doug Reisetter (Winnebago Co.), and Alan "Lightening" Bredlow (Hancock Co.) won the event with an amazing score of 52.
